Repairs to electric clocks

I offer a full restoration service on Ferranti electric clocks - Please contact me for availability

Overhaul prices start at:-

£160 - Complete Clock
£110 - just the movement.

I do not repair the striking clocks (which are a Smiths movement)

I normally fit approx 2 metres of thin white cable for a wall clock - if you want anything different please specify that.

If you prefer braided cable in Burgundy or antique bronze is available at an £4.50 per metre

For mantel clocks a 2m Braided cable in Burgundy or antique Bronze is available at an additional £9 (standard lead is a 2m black/white plastic cable)

It is very helpful when contacting me if you could send a picture by email of the clock and movement or it's cover for me to advise on restoration.

Where I do the full overhaul I can offer a 1 year guarantee against failure due to incorrect workmanship

I can normally return the clock within 4 weeks - during busy periods it may be slightly longer

If you buy a slave clock driver EC4 or EC5 then I can fit that free of charge during the overhaul.

Return Postage and Packing will be in addition to the above

Sending the clock to me

* I recommend Royal Mail - I can go to the main sorting office to pick up the parcel
* Pack the clock well with bubble wrap to protect it and use a large box - have at least 6 inches between the glass and outside of box
* Please include you name and address on a piece of paper, or print out of email, inside the box with the clock
* Return P&P - I would normally return via Evri because they are open 24/7 and so posting will be quicker

An overhaul involves: -
Strip down and clean the movement
Check operation and correct wear of parts
reassemble, oil and check operation
clean dial if possible and where needed
Clean and polish case where appropriate
