The EC4A impulse driver will control your Gents, Synchronome and similar Slave Clock
EC4A - Slave Clock Impulse Driver (mini Masterclock)
A small circuit controlled by a crystal and micro-controller and giving either a 30 second or 60 second pulse to drive a slave clock in the absence of a Master Clock. The EC4A uses a capacitor discharge technique to massively improve battery life. A typical lifespan for the 'c' cell packs is around 18months.
The controller activates a relay at 30 second or 60 second intervals. The clock can then be powered by a battery pack located in the back of the clock or by an external wired power supply if desired. It will come mounted or in a neat plastic enclosure. Small enough to fit behind the clock. Comes with a lead for the coil connection and switched battery box for the driver.
